I didn't know the electric kettles came in the 18 inch size. Has anyone ever come across one of those?

I traded this mint 18.5" electric red kettle to Reilly a few months ago.  Interesting little kettle

I remember that one. I didn't realize it was an 18 at the time.  They are a meet idea but I can see how it never really caught on.

LOL Greg! that's one way to stoke the coals!

Ranger guy is totally Kelso from That 70's show. Pretty sweet apron.

I have a yellow umbrella with the tassels and flower print on bottom. Still looking for a yellow to go with it.

I guess I thought the Seville used the leg-socket-less tabbed kettle, but it looks like a standard MBH drops right in. Good to know if a bare cart ever shows up in my area.

Interesting to note that Weber killed two birds with one stone when they show the lime 22 ( new for '74) and the "Chariot Style" Seville cart (also changed in '74.

Now I'm torn between a Keylime Chariot or a Cado '67 style cart..

To Marty's point, all you need is an standard MBH 22 and an empty chariot and the sky's the limit.

What great finds these publications are.  The "key lime" chariot Seville is one of my last grails.  I'd trade my restored mint avacado Seville for one of these.

Hey Dan
Check out the Gallery photos of my red electric 18.  And it works too!

Thanks for the link Jeff. That is an awesome electric grill.

I love looking at the old catalogs and the price list. The prices are especially interesting. Some things seem cheap and others seem kind of high. Sometimes I think Weber grills are cheaper now then they were back then. I will have to run them through an inflation converter to see.

Awesome thread, thanks for sharing. I look at how attentive the people are at cooking on the gas kettles, yet know propane in the area.  LOL! ;)

@Craig
I wonder if the @ is case sensitive, I didn't get the message to join the party on Saturday.

I think Craig was just hot and bothered after holding on to the catalog without showing it off for 24 hours :)
