I had the chance to take pics of a Brick Red performer bowl & lid next to the new Crimson Red bowl and lid.

Cool pics, thanks for posting dth.

I think there may be something behind the theory that they are actually the same color, but that the brick is gloss and the crimson is the satin or matte finish.

To my eyes, they are the same other the glossy finish.

Great pics.  I went into ACE with the plans of ordering a crimson performer when I saw the brick red on the showroom floor.  I'm glad I opted for it.  I would still take a crimson smokey joe though!
