It was good meeting you Dave.I know you will enjoy it.What did you think of the Painted Hills?

It was a very memorable trip Raymond , the grill made it home in perfect shape and I know I thanked you repeatedly , but thanks again man .

We went to the Fossil beds , and then up to Fossil . That took a long time and we didn't want to backtrack south to hit the the Painted hills , we hit Condon and let the kids swim instead ....I napped in the park

Cuda Dan , that Bud was after I unwrapped the cargo and found it made it to Idaho safely ! It's one thing to find one but the stress of hauling it ....man I was tense even after using 4 big gasser covers on the cart and 3 each on the lid .....it's all for nothing if it gets damaged ....I may have had 4-5 of those :)

" It's one thing to find one but the stress of hauling it ..."

I only drove maybe 11 miles bringing mine home, but boy.....the kettle was in the passenger seat WITH a seatbelt & the cart was in the back, buffered by towels & blankets.......

I kept thinking: "What if i have to slam on the brakes or something?"

Why is this SO stressful?
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!
"But the ever versatile kettle reigned supreme"

That's an impressive score and an impressive trip to get it!  Hardcore, man.  I don't know if I would have been up for 1K road trip.  I went 700 miles round trip for a motorcycle and I don't know if I'd do that again!
