Obscure/Weird Grill Accessories
« on: May 21, 2014, 04:33:22 AM »
I did a Google search this morning for grill accessories and came up with some pretty wild stuff.  Here's the best of what I found, the ham dogger.

Product Description
Now you can please both the hot dog and hamburger lover. You will never have to buy two kinds of buns when you have Kitchen Art Ham Dogger. The Ham Dogger is easy to use and makes 1/4 lb. hot dog shaped hamburger patties. Make specialty dogs using ground sausage or turkey.

This one doesn't need any explaining

What is the weird accessory that you have found or that has been given to you?

I'm with you!  The ham dogger end result would basically be meatloaf, and while I love meatloaf I don't want my meatloaf and hamburger additictions to become intertwined.

Mostly agreed, after I think about it.......

 However.......

you could switch buns, deftly, when no one was watching................ 8)

the taco shaper for frying:

I wonder if this could be used to shape soft shells without frying them.

Bacon weave shells sounds like something that should be attempted ASAP.  Check out the Food Dude - http://dudefoods.com/bacon-weave-taco/

As for flour shells, I'd think heating over direct heat in the form would work.

Ken you might have some of the cooler/stranger accessories I've seen. That being said, I want them!

Hmmmm, ham dogger... you know, I've been able to make the shape of a hot dog since I was like 1 or 2. You know, play-do, mud, etc. If you can roll something into the shape of a snake you could make your own ham dog.  ::)

But yeah, if I saw one at a garage sale for a buck, I'd probably buy it. Who am I trying to kid? :o
