SS Performer without gas assist?

Did Weber ever make a SS Performer with out it?

yup......they are easy to spot because they also didn't have casters

I have one.  I've had two other SS Performers with the gas Assist and I prefer without.  I just prefer the simplicity and clean look without the tank in front.

Here's some pics, it is my normal daily cooker.  The SJ wanted to be in the pictures too I guess.  ::)
