Does anyone have any info on this kettle

Hi Everyone

Just chasing any information on this kettle

Has no date code just a PAT. Number

Has a gas system installed through the one touch vent

Has a gas ring in lid vent to stop it closing

I know one touch was a premium option from 1983 could it have been earlier as the lid vent no code is saying its 1978 but it looks slightly newer 1983 ish

Any info is much appreciated

I’ll start by saying it’s a Master Touch grill, with an interesting gas burner added.

Weber replied back to me and said that it is a one touch plus 1987 and should have had a J code. They said maybe the lid vent was changed at some point as they cant explain why it has no code. They explained this is the first year that a thermometer and raised handle was added along with the damper system which was avail from 1983 as a weber option. The gas system is not weber genuine which is ok.  Look forward to firing it up
