Going Green......
« on: May 19, 2019, 06:47:49 PM »
Green EZ code MT popped up on the FB marketplace this morning and I just happened to be working on a house about 10 minutes away. Got done and picked it up on my way home.

Colored Webers aren’t as common out here in OK so I figured I’d better jump on this one. It’s definitely seen better days. Rust spots at the grate straps. Couple of dings on the lid. Ash sweep gone. Still.....for 25$, I’m gonna see what I can do and put it next to my red.

Any way to handle the exterior rust?

Nice find.  It’ll clean up!   For the exterior rust , I’d dab some vegetable oil on it.   It’ll keep the rust at bay.  High heat paint may not match or keep its color for long.
