What is a MT conversion?

M/T is Master-Touch

The MTs have a lid bale, lid thermometer, wood handles, ash catcher bucket. Some models have some of that, but the MT has all of them in a standard standalone kettle.

I didn’t realize true MT’s only had wooden handles. Looks like I’ve mismarked a few of my CL adds that sold to civilians. I’ll have to be more accurate from now on.

Late model MT has plastic handles.
Here is mine from my 2015 Euro Smoke Grey.

Yeah when they brought that model back in 2015 all Webers had long since transitioned to plastic handles by then. Swapping in custom wood handles isn’t automatic, but often assumed.

I like the look of the wooden handles and one day I hope to get a set.
I would have already bought a full set of @zavod44 handles but I have 1 big problem that prevents me from pulling the trigger.
His handles are SO NICE that I can’t pick just 1 set... I like them ALL !
