New Mastertouch
« on: May 24, 2017, 09:39:06 AM »
I got my new kettle from Lowes a couple weeks ago after somewhat of a hassle. Got it set up and have cooked on it about 8 times. I noticed last night a little rust spot. Call Weber this morning and my new lid is on the way. Fantastic!  There was no hesitation and no questions asked. That's customer service.

Yep. They are really good to their customers. I'd take the old lid and do the chop top pizza mod.

In the center of the picture? Are you sure that's rust? Looks more like Windex residue or some such thing.

Does no hesitation or questions asked mean Weber did not ask to see a picture?
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

That's rust and what looks like tiny cracks. That's the picture I sent them. No windex
