So it's about 2:30 today and I'm looking at CL
I see a new ad up for a black 22. Upon looking at the pictures, the wood handles appear to look good even though it was taken from a distance. It's located just over the border in NJ about an hour away. Called and told him I would be there by 4:30. I get off highway and my GPS crashed. I pull over to look at CL ad to get address and the ad was deleted. Called him back and got the address. I'm 10 miles away. Well not 3 miles down the road, they've closed it. Spoke with a PO and he gave me directions. Well what should have been 7 miles turned into 15. I was worried because he said he would put it out at the curb. Well it was a dead end street and there she was with an unopened 24lb. bag of Kingsford.
When did they stop making those. Got out of the truck and saw the handles and they look brand new. He came out to meet me. He explained how he only used the one 24 lb. bag to cook on the grill. It's been sitting in the garage for 20 plus years. He wanted to use it this last weekend for a party. When his wife said NO he told her he was getting rid of it. We shook hands and an hour I was home. It's an N code. Even the one touch looks good. Dusty from being in the garage. Her initial 1 hour cleaning proves promising.
