Saw this at the supermarket normally priced at $4.80 a lb and they had a case if them at $1.67lb.
I grabbed one but have never done a corned beef brisket and don't know what they're normally priced at.

They drop even more right after St. Patrick's Day around here(South Shore).
They can be made in to fake pastrami too....yum.

A good price for the point...I prefer the flat for making pastrami and pay more for it...

I got a flat yesterday that was on sale at $2.47/lb. Looks like you may have shopped at the same chain. Giant or Martins?

Yeah, that's a damn good price.   Best case, I'll pay double that, after St Paddy's Day.
