Pineapple Upsidedown Cake
« on: May 10, 2016, 08:41:30 PM »
Saw this recipe in my Lodge DO book.  First problem I don't have a lid for Great Great Grandma's Wagnor so technically I Weber baked it.  I can't believe it popped right out with no mess.  Beginners Luck.  Thanks for looking.

One of my favorite cakes ever.  Not easy to pop out in one piece.  Great job!

Only if you incorporate wood to the mix ,clean burning ashed over coals won't impart any flavor , a kettle is a great way to make baked goods , gives bread that artisan texture .

I do knead to make some dutch oven bread soon...perhaps I can try the kettle instead of the oven.
