Grilled Tuna
« on: April 16, 2016, 05:00:16 PM »
My wife was wanting something healthy so I tried grilling some yellowfin tuna. This was my first time to do it. I just put olive oil, salt, pepper and some lime juice on it and then grilled it over a hot fire for two minutes each side. Mixed up some mango salad to go with it. I also cut up some avocado and orange. If you haven't tried avocado and orange with tuna you are missing out.

I used my jumbo joe.

Tasty looking plate!
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Yum! Never tries the avocado or oranges for that matter with tuna. Have to give it work next time. Looks great!

Try it with a drizzle of soy sauce as well. Really good.

Looks great. I do mine with olive oil, minced garlic, Rosemary, lemon juice, salt, pepper. Let it marinate for about an hour. It's even better on swordfish steaks.
