1/4 cup or more Fresh Huckleberries and some of the juice or
? What ever berry you can get and or like .
1 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp fresh cracked pepper
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp prepared mustard
Mix, simmer and taste, adjust to your liking, it's a fast and easy sauce make about 1 quart , it will keep for a about week in the fridge. I make a big batch and can it , that will last about a year , it gets better with age
Huckleberries have a sweet tart taste, they grow like weeds in the mountains around here and they blend well with the heat of the chipolte . I like it with pork and poultry, but it's great with any thing when your looking for a sweet heat.
Hope you like it
