Last week, I ran into an expandable poster tube (artist tube) at a garage sale. At first, I thought it was for fishing poles, but then realized what it was for. They said $2, so I told myself I'll throw my barbecue tools in it to keep them clean underneath the gill cover & be able to use it to transport the tools elsewhere. Since it expands, I figured I can throw rubs, spices, whatever, in it too. I'll probably try it out this week to see how things fit & will report back. It looks like it should easily fit a standard bbq spatula, but probably not that extra wide one that Weber has.
Thought some here might find it interesting, especially if you score one cheap while hunting for other things.
Amazon has them for $19.99, but you have to combine with something else to get free shipping.
