Smoked ribs
« on: December 18, 2018, 05:13:25 PM »
I have been cooking ribs for awhile now and I have quite perfected it yet. I have wrapped , I have not wrapped . I like to be able to eat the meat off the bone , not just pull the bone out and have a pile
Of meat . Which is what happened to me the last time that I wrapped . So last couple racks that I did I didn’t wrap. Which they came out decent , just not quite as tender as I wanted .... ( sometimes I get picky about my cooks) .  So today I decided that I would wrap again and just play around with it . I ran about 225ish with my slow and sear . I smoked
3 hrs didn’t open the lid once . Wrapped for only one hour with some brown sugar and butter . That seemed to be just enough time. Nice and tender , obviously juicy . Put them back on for another hour and 15 minutes . Pulled them off at 200 degrees. They were nice and tender but still able to bite them off the bone. So this time I was pretty pleased with how they came out . I just want to find my go
To method . I doubt that’s ever gonna happen lol.
