Weber Kettle shipping

Getting some shipping rates on an 18. Will a 20x20x12 box work for an 18 with the legs and triangle?  Can anyone comment on Greyhound station to station shipping? They look like the cheapest route to take.

I wonder if it'd be possible to find an Ace or a Home Depot -let them set one up and give you the box.

I don't know anything about Greyhound.  Just watch those lid edges and handles!

I've gotten the best rates with FedEx.  If you setup an account with them the pricing is a little less then if you get a quote through the web site with no account.  Further, if you have company account the price goes down again.

I recall @harris92 having some sort of issue with a kettle getting stuck along a Greyhound route because it didn't fit in the cargo bay of the bus at a transfer point.
Wanted: Burgundy 18"

@Neil_VT00 that issue was with a much bigger box should not be a problem with a 20 20 12

FedEx was cheaper for me as well, used the company account to get it cheaper. Size of box doesn’t matter as much that way either.
