Walking through a church parking lot sale a familiar
logo caught my eye and half buried in a pile of
stuff leaning against the box was a NIB Simpsons SJ!.
I asked the kid how much and he said name your price.
I said get me started and he said $5. I said sold.
They were raising money for a youth missions trip
and I just couldn't let it go at that so on the way
out my wife and I handed the Youth Minister $40
to go towards the trip.
So with the SJ and some other great deals
(brand new metal gasoline safety can for $5)
I thought it only fair to contribute to the youth.
Though technically an under $20 item
it just didn't seem right to list it on that thread.
The tape fell off and I could look inside
and have verified that it is indeed a Homer.
Now to figure out what to do with it.
