About 30 minutes in on the faded black I picked up this week.

Beauty! Ribs on the roti is something I have yet to try out. Let us know how it compares to more conventional indirect cook way?

You got it. An hour in. Sprints with apple juice every 15 min and drop a little chunk of wood in. Tried the BBQ pit boys suggestion of hitting the ribs with apple cider vinegar prior to loading them up with rub to open everything up.

I give my ribs a solid D. Really, tough and chewy. I just winged the whole cook though with no thermometers. I'll give it another try someday.

I did the exact same thing and had the same results. Just winged it. I actually think mine were done at the 1:15 mark but I let them go about the same time you did. I wish I would have pulled them earlier and tried them. If good, it might be the fastest way I've seen yet for ribs. I really need to try it again at lower temps or high temps and pull sooner.
