Old faded Black or Gray Smokey Joe?
« on: November 15, 2014, 04:00:21 PM »
Here it is with a couple others that were a similar shade.

I got it from my neighbor who said it was left in one of his rental houses. The bottom vents were corroded and the rivets rusted tight, so I drilled them out and replaced them with new rivets. The wing nut tips on the legs are toast, but solid. No date codes on the vents. I cooked on it a couple times with my Mini Cajun Bandit Conversion, but switched it out for another SJ.

Any Gray experts care to chime in?
I cook on: Backwoods Gater, Lang 36, Hunsaker Smokers, Pellet Pro 22" WSM, BGE's, WSM's, Cajun Bandits, PK Grills, Drum Smokers, Genesis Silver C, Weber Q's, Cookshack 008, Little Chief, La Caja China #2, Lodge Sportsman...oh yeah! Weber Kettles! Kamado restoration and pit modification hack!
