Stress Relief
« on: September 29, 2013, 07:07:34 PM »
After 14 days of working to get our houses back in order, my neighbor and I organized a Bronco watching party in my yard.  This was my time to work on something other than pumping sewage, power washing, or demoing my basement.   So here are the details.

We setup a TV and antenna and pointed it towards Denver.

We located 3 easy up awnings which were not destroyed by the flood and got them setup over the TV and food serving area.

I loaded up the Cado with ABTS:

The brownie was setup with the ROT and 2 chickens:

The Red MT was loaded with moink balls:

We also cooked 30 brats and 30 burgers on the Cue Cart.

The SS performer served as a charcoal starter and a prep table.

So here's the whole crew watching the Broncos whip up on Phili.

My weber's performed like champs.

I used to live about five miles from your place Java.  The devastation you guys have been through is remarkable, but your spirit and the spirit of your neighbors is far more powerful.  Best of luck as you continue the clean up efforts.

Very happy to read/see this, Java.  Glad to see the neighborhood come together for some enjoyment!
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

Sorry to know that you had to go through that situation with the floods, but Sunday watching the Broncos beat up on the Eagles and doing a cook like that for friends and family to forget about the stress for a few hours is priceless.

Great looking food and Goooooooooo Broncos!

That is awesome and inspirational to see and read about. Good to see you and your troops (cookers) back in action again.
