Found this vegetable holder dated 1996 on the shelf. Can't wait to try it.

I saw 3 or 4 of those (NIB) at a local Goodwill store about 3-4 months ago, for $6 apiece.  Kicking myself for not picking up at least a couple of them.   :-[

Love picking these kind of stores. Recently found an old mom and pop store that has been selling grills since the early 60's. I have picked up a weber fireplace, 3 wooden side tables, and a CI full size kettle griddle. I want to ask if they have a basement and/or attic that might have some hidden gems :)

Tried them out tonight with some corn on the cob, they worked great. I fired up both the Q and the Performer, corn and steaks on the performer, onion and red potatoes (quartered) on the Q, what a feast. :)

Soaked the cobs in cold salt water for about 2 hours, husked and then lightly coated in canola oil before wrapping in foil - definitely my favorite way to make corn on the cob. I really like how these held the cobs over the hot coals but not laying on the grate... 0 burnt kernels and oh so juicy and crisp, big hit tonight.
