Removal of logo
« on: July 09, 2013, 03:09:32 PM »
I have two of the brick red Kraft cheese contest OTGs. I absolutely hate the white Kraft logo on them. Has anyone tried removing the logos on a kettle lid or know if it's even possible? I can't tell if it's just normal paint or porcelin-enamel. I know alot of you would want to leave it alone and buy a new brick red performer lid but funds are limited.

Thanks!

Its impossible.  None of those logos or company ads are meant to come off.  They are designed to take the heat of the kettle.  You're stuck with it if you have one! LOL  That's unfortunate.

Thanks, I figured as much. I would be fine if the logo looked good. It looks like they didn't use enough paint on the stencil. Buy when I got my second one it was exactly the same.

every once in a while I come across whatever the prize drawing is for these and put my name in, almost hoping I don't win.  There must have been another one recently because a brand new Kraftie showed up on local Craigs last weekend.

I'm beginning to think it's supposed to be that way. I just found this image online:

How about just getting some matching paint and spraying that section?
