Back in June when I found my Half-Red Outrider, an ad popped up on FB Marketplace for a Snap On Go-Anywhere.  The ad was a half-a-day old, but that was old enough for it to sell before I got a response from the seller.  Having a Half-Red Outrider was not a bad consolation prize, so I didn't spend too much time grieving.

On Tuesday of this week, I checked CL ads at lunch and saw not one, but TWO, ads listing a Snap On GA in central Connecticut.  They were not subtle.  They both included "Snap On" and "Weber" right there in the title and in ALL CAPS.  They were both from the same seller (for one grill) and included pictures eliminating any doubt as to what was being sold.  Although the ads had only been up for an hour, I was certain that the grill would already be gone.  I reached out anyway and the seller responded it was still available.  I offered to come that afternoon, but the seller said Wednesday would be better.  I offered to pay in advance, but he declined and assured me he would not sell it.

Wednesday eventually arrived and sure enough, he did not sell it.  The seller was a mechanic who got the grill along with the massive Snap On tool chest he had in his garage.  He collects trains, so he didn't think it weird that someone would make a 5-hour round trip for a $25 grill.  Good to know that there are people who stand by their word even when that word is given to a stranger over the internet.

Anyway, the grill is in nice shape, but not too nice that I won't cook on it.  Since it's a G-code, I now have a "G" Go and an "A" Anywhere.  Say hello to Shorty and Red.

Congrats on a great score! I like a good road trip too.
It's always nice when a seller stands by their word.

Let's see your red snap-on in action.
