Black stains
« on: May 23, 2021, 02:57:04 PM »
Hey everyone,

I am working on cleaning up a yachtsman. It has some black stains on the underside and I have tried several different cleaners. I was just wondering if anyone had encountered this and had a good solution to get the stains to come off. I have tried soap and water with 0000 steel wool, making a paste with bar keepers friend and rinsing off, some ceramic oven cleaner, nothing seems to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Easy off or 409 all surface might do the trick

I know it will bother you TJ, but you will not be able to see those stains when you use it.   1) it’s on the bowl bottom and 2) you’ll be too fixated on the orange color of it being hot.
