Enough about the new Glen Blue. Just got my self on old Glen Blue.
Responded back to the seller of a Glen Blue after the Craigslist ad was up overnight for 10 hours. I expected it would be already gone by then since things go quick on my area. So I responded with the a quick "I'd like to buy this" to put my self in line with the other offers in case it didn't work out for them. No response from the seller for about 20 minutes than the ad is taken down. Still no communication. About 5-10 minutes after the ad is taken down I get an email "Text me". So I email my number and he texts "Weber". I respond back I want to buy it and can come anytime today. No response from him for over the next 2 hours even after a few more texts from me. Then responds "within 4 hours" I ask for the address and no response again for  over 2 hours. I'm not sure what to make of all this but it is a Glen Blue so I'll deal with the seller. He sends an address that is like a partial address and I was able to find it on maps but it's about an hour and a half away but it is a Glen Blue so off I go. Ended up getting there and the guy was a super nice guy just not responsive to the texts.  It all worked out in the end but you never know.

The kettle is a little rough but I will feel good about using it as a regular cooker since it's not perfect. I have a wood handle for it but will need a set of spare wheels for it because 1 steel wheel is toast and not sure about the other yet. I did a quick wash down and another cool thing is the interior of the bowl and lid is blue too.

Thought I might have been being played and wasn't sure how it would turn out. But when you're close to a Holy Grail you have to have a little more patience. Glad I have it but wish Weber would have waited to release the new 26" Glen Blue so I could have enjoyed having a very rare Glen Blue colored kettle longer then a few hours.
