This past weekend, my dad and I participated in a KCBS-style charity rib cook with all proceeds going to wounded veterans. Some grill fellas even stopped by to hang out (@SacramentoWeber showed up to taste test [emoji1303]).
Not only did we make a bunch of ribs for the public to purchase, we took 2nd place out of 25 teams in the judging portion. Humbled and honored to say the least.
Got a chance to cook with my dad, feed the public, and help out some great folks in the community.
