Ok, this might be cheating because I posted this dish (ginger beer brined bone in pork loin) a few weeks back, but since it is a family favorite, and I just cooked them again last night, thought I could still share.  May not be live on the pit, but it was on the pit.  The first time I shared I think the side veggie was corn.  Last night was beefsteak tomato, mozz cheese, drizzle of EVOO and fresh basil.

Tonight was burger night at our house.  I did not know that as I had already prepared and marinated boneless/skinless chicken breast for a nice Mediterranean grilled chicken dinner.  Chix stayed in the fridge, homemade burgers here we come.  Then they also let me know they wanted donuts instead of rolls as the burger handle.  It is a decent combination (especially if you add bacon, which we did not have), and tasty, but does not beat the usual burger on a roll from the grill.  I attached a couple of pictures.  I did have mine with cheese too, the pic is from my son which is without cheese.  I know I talk about the family, and there is only 1 ear of corn.  I am the only one in the family who likes corn from the grill.  Everyone else prefers boiled.....go figure!

Hilarious! I looked at the pic before reading what you wrote and I said wait, are they using donuts for hamburger rolls? :D
Beer! It's what's for dinner...

I love this! I have some vines running out by my old wood shop. Makes me want to look around for a roached out kettle to set next to them, let nature take over

Dude, relax your chicken.

Just picked this grill up yesterday.  It had at least a quarter inch of ash built up on the bottom, that I quickly scraped off using a 1 inch putty knife that I rounded the corners off on.  Then I subjected to old food grate to some flames & heat, put some coals in two baskets to make a hot zone & cooked a couple of T-bones and then some crappy Hillshire Farms uncured kielbasa that I got for $1/package when they were close to going out of date.

Hal
