Although Mod Month is a year round thing, I like the idea of an annual celebration of all the ways members refuse to leave well enough alone. Well, that and I like coming up with a poster each year.  8)  For those who have not been around, here are the first four posters I did, going back to October 2014 - the first official Mod Month:


This year, I'm back again with another one for the unofficial Mod Month. I like to tap into popular culture, and I think this one captures the WKC spirit we all share. Hope you like it!

No rules. Anything goes. If you change a leg cap from white to black, that’s a Mod. Do what you like. Experiment. Have fun. Screw up. Start over. Share your mods year round, but October was made for mods. Share ‘em here, but post them on the mods forum too. Mod once, post twice!

Here is my most recent Mod. Doing up an Ivory the way it deserves!

Weber sidekick table and condiments rack
Painted triangle
Zavod Birdseye Maple handles
All silver ash pan assembly
Wheels from a Radio Flyer 10” classic trike

And it’s currently sitting in my living room and my wife doesn’t mind!!!

I did a simple mod that’s not new but new to me.  I drilled and added bolts to the roti ring and used the ring and water bowl out of the 18 wsm to turn the performer into a full indirect smoker.

I think im going to do this to mine too. I dont use the roti enough and i like the idea of multi functionality
