Today's Dump Score

My buddy found this underneath 2 refrigerators today at the dump.
He looked for an hour but couldn't find grates or ash pan.
Lid, legs, triangle, and wheels are in really good shape. No cracks on the treads.
Bowl has rust through at grate straps but also got a LOT banged up by the refrigerators.
Like my buddy told me " how the lid and legs made it through he couldn't believe it".
I'll see what a rubber mallet does to help the bowl get back to round. Can't hurt it anymore then it is.
Still I feel blessed to have this.

Thats the coolest kettle I seen all year.

Your going to have a have a ball fixing that one....its beyond a Bear Hug...more like professional wrestling with the iron claw and an elbow drop from the top rope.

Its a thumbscrew. Bowl was banged up and out of round from 400lbs. of refrigerators.

A little coercion from a rubber mallet

Lid now fits on bowl.

I'm still in awe the lid survived in the condition it's in. Rim rash and thats it.
