Holy Crap!

That is the rarest of the rare.

Stash in the closet and wait for the collectors to chime in.

Very cool. You can find more pics of these in the old 60s or 70s catalogs that are in the blog portion of the Clubs site.

Yes, I have one and am getting a second one in the next few days. Here is a pic of the first. I'll post a pic of the second later. It needs some work.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Do you know the age difference of your lid vent to his bowl vent style?

Interesting  double handles on the lid of this one that cwestsmokin scored.  First one I have see like that.   The one that is featured on the WKC 1964 Fireplace article also has one handle.

This photo that was posted 2 years ago on a Facebook Weber kettle site also had one handle.  All of these have no lid vent, unlike the one @harris92 has.  Interesting differences from year to year.  Having no lid vent, are they dated by the vent on the top of the bowl? I tried reaching out to the person that posted this photo but never received a response.

The 18s all seem to have one lid handle. Would there have been a 22 like that? This is our first 22 here, is it not?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
