I have one in the top picture at work. Many of the parts are stainless, but the lids get rusty, the cooking grates get rusty, and the water pans inside rot away. Thing cost about $6k when we got it 15 years back. I'm trying to get the boss to throw it away. It came with 4 of the 40lb propane tanks that have to lay sideways to use. It has 8 burners inside and does cook a ton. I could lay down on top of it.

Are you trying to get your boss to throw it out and you volunteer to "haul it away" ?  ;)   also, the surgeon general has determined that laying on a grill is hazardous to your health. ;D;D

No, It seriously needs more work than it is worth. It got so rusty that a few years back I had to have many of the parts sandblasted. that's when we found out the water pans were rusted out. I also found that 3 of the burners were non functioning, and the parts for those aren't cheap. Replaced a couple regulators, then painted the lids with some high heat to keep them from rusting again. In the end we never used the grill again, despite all the work. I would say it probably needs $500+ in parts to be 100% usable again. (not even sure what the water pans would cost) Yeah, it's made to last a long time, but that is some serious coin.

First time I have seen a beast like this, and one pops up on CL this morning. They only want a mere $2500.00 and no picure.

Those tanks are double the size of a 20lb tank. lol They are as big as the performer! The ones standing up on the left are bolted to the wall for storage. They stand about 30" high. I remember spending about $80 a pop filling two every couple months.
