Ford logo handle SJ

Picked up a Smokey Joe today with a Ford logo handle. Seller said he won it a few years ago from a dealership.  It is a AT code 2013, model number 10020, and Weber customer service confirmed the model number. Has anyone seen these before?  Customer service could not give me any more information or tell me if it came from the factory with the logo.  I have searched the internet but did not find any of the Ford logo Smokey Joe’s.

Didn't know if it was database worthy since it was the run of the mill 10020 model number, but it did peak my interest.

Not really, although I do like the Mustangs and the Torino, especially the GT. I'm more of a Mopar guy when it comes to the domestic cars. All in all, I'm a Benz guy. Although my younger brother likes Fords
(( he has a Mustang & an F150)...I don't know where my parents went wrong)) LOL.

But, my point was that there is no way that Weber would allow an association with another brand without their approval. Any company would do this. Heck, imagine if Harley Davidson had just got a bunch of F150's and put their logo on it and some orange vinyl stripes and tried to sell them. Ford's lawyers would be all over them like a buzzard on a gut wagon.

@Seth1025  - If you ever want to make a trade for this handle, please let me know. My father-in-law worked for a Ford dealership for nearly 40 years and would flip out if this showed up on his grill someday.
