I'm taking a private poll of sorts. I'm curious as to how many of us own a Ranch Kettle? Let me start by saying I do not. Just curious as to how prevalent they are among the faithful? Also, anyone know the distance from the cooking grate to the ground? I was curious how tall one of these sat up off the ground?
I do!

I'm guessing some of you probably use a spare for storing & displaying your Smokey Joe or Go Anywhere collections.

Whenever I see a ranch, I wonder if you fabricated a corn n' tater ring for it, how many would it hold?

But, maybe that's just because I'm from the Midwest and Irish.

Picked one up a couple years ago for $400 only an 1-1/2 hours from home.  Guy used it twice to cook corn.  It still had the stainless finish on the grates!  I use it way more than I originally thought I would.  I first bought thinking, what the hell, for the price...  But now I use it almost anytime we're entertaining, and I do about half of my smokes on it too.   Works great.
