Flamous coconut charcoal

Since troys video a long while back i have been in contact periodically with Chris from flamous. The other day i get an email asking if i would be interested in a sample? Of course i would!! So i give him my address and he says hes sending out a 22 pound bag! It showed up today.

Havent broke it open yet. Going to get a bag of weber charcoal and do a comparison video (since troys video already used kbb) ill update once i have the video made

Badass!! Flamous is good stuff. Takes a bit longer to get it going, but it burns nice and clean.

Coconut charcoal is awesome. It burns consistently hot but it takes a lot longer to start up. My other gripe with the other Coshell brand was that the shape of it, with pointy corners, made it harder to pack densely.

I have also gotten a sample and have used it. It works great. Like Troy said, take a bit to get going but it stays hot for quite a while.

Nice, im going to pick up 2 compact chimneys and a bag of weber this week hopefully sunday

I have 2 bags in reserve for smoking only. Hopefully Flamous will be in stores so I can grab some. I was hounding my local Lowes about getting the weber charcoal in stock for a while, but I would probably take this over weber brand charcoal.

Flamous is on amazon if your reall desperate. I think its like 25 for a 22lb bag or something. Owner said if you go to his warehouse location they have it for 3 bucks an 11 pound bag and 5 for a 22 pound bag.
