My wife surprises me with a Slow n Sear XL for my 26" yesterday for Valentines Day.  Wow! Now, I already have a the SnS for my 22" Kettle, but she said she wanted me to have one for each, so I wouldn't have to move it back and forth.  Awhile back I bought a 22" pizza pan from Amazon (around $10-12) to make a drip pan to go along with the SnS to use in my 26".  Now, I love the SnS (and I think it's the best kettle cooking accessory out there), but I couldn't justify spending $80 (plush S&H) for their Drip/Griddle pan.  I already have a 28" Blackstone griddle, and simply would never use the $80 pan as a griddle.  Additionally, their $80 Drip/Griddle pan is made for the 22", not the 26".

Fortunately, I never did get around to cutting the 22" pizza pan until yesterday after I got the SnS XL for the 26".  I previously did the same for my 22" using a 17" pizza pan.  I used a dremel cutting wheel to cut the pan.  Now I just gotta foil the pan and find some food to cook.  Easy Peasy.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

As a person with two 26's, I love that drip pan idea with the pizza pan!

I like the idea @RemoGaggi.  But, I've gotta ask, if you're going foil the pan anyway, why not just put a sheet of foil down on the grate?

I used to just foil, but I found myself fighting with the foil a lot of the times to make it fit right - maybe I'm just clumsy or too OCD.  When, I'm setting up to cook, I just foil the pan inside where it takes me a couple seconds.  :D

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

On the side that was cut with a dremel was there a lip or in other words was it formed up at all or just flat?
