Looking for a new Ranch grill grate

Hey all.  I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving in the states.  I have been chatting up one of my customers about Weber grills.  He owns about 4 kettles, including a really nice 22 crimson curb find, and a Ranch that he inherited from his Dad.  He wants a new grill grate for the Ranch.  After a bit of searching, I found one for $245 at ereplacementparts.com and the same one for $279 at Bar-B-Que,com.  Does anybody know of any other cheaper sources?  I didn't know what a Ranch was until I joined this site.  I learn something new every time I'm here, and this guy could become a new member.  I showed him this site and he was amazed at the vintage colored grills.  Any help would be appreciated.

It’s either ereplacment or Weber..$245 sound good.

how bad is the current ranch grate? they are all stainless steel and clean up much better than the regular grates. Otherwise, the cost direct from weber isn't bad for what you're getting imo.

I haven't seen it.  I was just bored and thought I'd do some searching for him.  I'll give him the options.  I'm sure cleaning will sound like a better option than a new one, if the old one is still in decent shape.

Have they always beem SS? Mine's about 10 years old. I've not done a deep clean on them but they sure don't look ss at first glance. Would be nice though.

As far as I know, yes. They’ll darken up of theyre well used in a commercial environment or rust pitted.

I got an e-mail back from Weber.  Pt.#80645 Hinged Cooking Grate SS $215.10.  Pt.#66912 Charcoal Grate Ranch Kettle $104.88.  I'm assuming the second one is a flat grate?

Rk charcoal grates aren’t flat. They usually have a triangular truss on the bottom.
