The Smithsonian wishes theirs was as nice.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

must be the kettle karma i keep hearing about , gave my neighbor a common newer black one last month . week later he reaches over the fence to had me a huge plate of wood cooked pork yummys and lamb shiskabobs  ! omg turns out he's a major bbq dude and was going to get a charcoal grill anyway . hmmm time to offer one up to another neighbor lol. haved pm'd rotti guy already but i have to give him a huge thank you on here ! don't know if i going to keep it ( it's too nice to use , i have others , but if and when i get rid of it rotti -guy has first dibs .

wow that thing looks almost brand new!
Its amazing how quickly one weber kettle turns into more than a dozen!  Always open to grabbing something interesting so let me know what you've got!

brand new never used still has the styrofoam inserts on the grate hooks ! missing end caps and front leg , have all the paperwork but has gotten wet and mouldy ,

I have no experience with this but just ran a quick search about book mold.

"Slide a sheet of waxed paper underneath the moldy page to protect the page behind it. Use a soft brush to carefully remove any obvious mold or mildew. Dampen a soft cloth with hydrogen peroxide or denatured alcohol and carefully treat."

I'd keep that inside to avoid the Winnipeg winter!  Congrats on the amazing score...I also have an A code...I've had a 78 red, thumbscrew red, and a couple red mist...the 1979 red is my favorite version of the color.  Enjoy!
