I've been coaching Middle School football with Chad for 5 years now. He said he was in the market for a grill. I said I recently picked up an AH code 22" OTG for $20 that I would gift him if he was interested in switching from a gasser. He was all in!

The grill only needed a new charcoal grate, which I asked him to buy. I also suggested he buy a Weber chimney, lighter cubes, and gave him my approved list of charcoal to choose from. He chose Royal Oak Lump Charcoal. (The other choices were Weber briqs, Stubbs, RO Ridge, and GFS Lump).

He also promised me to never use a lighter fluid. Whew!

He sliced some thin beef tenderloin steaks, and added a dry rub to them. We also grilled some fresh broccoli drizzled in avocado oil.

They cook fast.

Finished meal - steak, broccoli, salad, grapes, homemade ranch dressing, chocolate chip banana cookies, and BEER! Oh and hot dogs for the kids.
