What the Fork is this thing doing in NJ?

I didn't stop to ask.  I just went to get it.  Seller said she had it for about four years before switching to electric.  No point in asking any more provenance type questions. . .  Here are some pics of the tear down and partial cleanup.  I would have done a more thorough cleaning, but I lopped off a small chunk of my left index finger while doing dinner prep over the weekend . . .

Ash pan, pre-cleaning (don't worry, the third clip is there):

Lid after a mild scrub

Bowl in its found state

Wheels

Can't wait to heal up so I can get this cleaned up!

Congratulations Drew. 2 Wood Dales scored today on opposite sides of the country. I love it.

Thanks all.  Finally got one older than me.  Guessing this is a '62-'63 based on the wheels and MLH?  The only thing that's not original is that two of the legs are held in with regular screws, not the original thumbscrews.

Wow. Looks hardly used AND kept from the elements. Not easy to find an old blaik that isn't faded.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
