Five days later...http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/mn-41813/...
here we are again  >:(

It's supposed to get up to almost 70 this weekend... we'll see.  ::)

Duke

How is it going to go to 70 by saturday when today is tuesday and it's snowing? Has that ever happened before? That's extremely drastic isn't it?

Cookingmama

that weather roller coaster is awful.  i hate it.  same craziness here but not as bad with the snow though.

Look, I tells ya what I read from the weather people. They say it's going to be near 70...so it must be true  ???, because the weather people are NEVER wrong :o.
We had a great winter last year, hardly any snow and 70's by March. So we're paying for it this year is my guess. Normal is no more snow after April...it hasn't been normal for the last two years.

Jeff

That sucks.  How much fell last night?  And you still have ice on your lakes I assume?

8". Most of the lakes in the Twin Cities area and below are just about ice free. 50 - 75 north of the cities there's still ice. BUT, I could be woking this weekend if the nice weather holds!

Duke - Midwest weather goes in 2 seasons...winter and summer, especially lately. Not uncommom to go from 30 to 70 in a day...snow to rain, etc. Its really ridiculous here.
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

And yet we choose to live here, go figure  ???

Sorry to see that... We're on our (hopefully) last cold day here in Omaha today. We're suppose to top 80 by Sunday. Just in time for my vacation to start!  8)

I was gonna say the same thing, it's pretty normal, it's just the way it is.  It keeps us tough, not soft like AJ....he's a noodle

Your going from snow on tuesday to near 80 on saturday. How big of a temp change is that? At least 60?

HankB

I was snowing most of the day here near Detroit but luckily much too warm for any to stick.

Ours is mostly gone now too, funny how temps in the 40's will do that  ;D
