Today I got an email from Weber "Protect your grill from the elements"
This got me to thinking about one of my grill covers.
As you can see the one on the right is faded to a silver grey.  I bought it new in Sept 2016.  The one on the left I have had since March 2015.
The email even says "UV inhibitors to prevent fading.   BTW these 2 grills have sat the entire time in the same spot.
These are suppose to have a 3 year warranty.
Should I call them on it?

YES! Call them.
You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes you get what you need

Give it a shot, why not...

Some of their covers that I've had in the past sucked out loud. Their customer service may surprise you...  Contact them.
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

It's hard to believe that it could fade so evenly just from exposure to the sun. I suspect there is some underlying flaw... definitely talk to Weber.

My 26 cover is doing the same thing.  4 months old. All other covers are still black.

OK Thanks.  It will have to wait until Monday before I call.  I will take some more pics that show the Weber logo.  I am pretty sure they will want to see them.

Warranty claim has been submitted. 2 photos, one of the cover and the second of the label.  Also included a PDF of the amazon receipt.
