Thank you all! I am very excited to get this cleaned up and cook on it I have many Weber grills, too many to list, and I never thought a vintage grill would show up in my area. I want a brown, never see them, took me a couple years to get a Red. Yellow,,,that probably will never happen. I did see a Lime kettle in Key West one time and was prepared to make a 4 hour drive there, party a little bit and bring it home, but the owner was leaving the state at that time and never heard back from them.

I think I will pay someone to sandblast the cart and paint. The rubber tread is is good shape but I am kind of afraid to take it off the wheels. It's not glued or anything, but I am afraid if it stretches out or something and don't fit when putting it back on.I will clean the kettle up the best I can, Piks will follow!

Did the Chariot cart come in any other color than White? I really don't like the white but want to keep it as original as possible

Original Seville was introduced in 1967. Appears in the 1968 and 1969 catalogs. DOES NOT APPEAR in 1971, 72 or 73 catalogs. We do not yet have the 1970 catalog to confirm. The "Chariot" (Seville Gen2) was introduced in 1974. A lime colored chariot Seville was pictured in both the 1974 and 1977 catalogs. Chariots could be had in Red, Lime and Copper Mist kettles. Harris has a 1979? Blue lid and bowl (with the outer straps) in a Chariot cart. Though the chariot wasn't shown in the 1979 catalog.

Thanks for the history lesson, @Craig.  I think these Chariot Sevilles are soooo cool.

@Craig  @Troy  With as many Chariot Sevilles that have been surfacing lately, what about a dedicated article on Sevilles in the Weber History section of the WKC Home Page?  Inclusion of the Woodard Furniture Company connection also.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.
