My first Wooddale @ Mothers day (Pic Heavy)
« on: May 14, 2017, 07:16:13 AM »
Inspired by below thread and referred by @Mr.CPHo  (Thank you ,if you recall he alerted me for $25 ranch as well ) and than later talking to @fs3putt to schedule the pickup.
http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/found-my-first-wood-dale-today!/

Picked this up today and met another awesome grillfella @fs3putt and he has been waiting for more than 1 year to sell . He has "blue 2nd gen performer", which I was eyeing as well :).

Needs Ashpan (don't know where to find) and rubber on wheel is gone.

Here are some pictures, need to weld one of leg socket.

Very cool!  Thanks to @fs3putt for offering it up to the club.

I got a chuckle this morning thinking about all the guys flipping pancakes and squeezing oranges for Mother's Day breakfast; not Chiku, he's out on the road first thing in the morning securing a Wood Dale.

Nice work, congrats!

I'm happy that it found a good home. Can't wait to see pictures of it brought back to its glory.

I believe there is a place where you can buy new rubber. I don't remember the name of the site, but it has been posted here before.

Got some welding done ( not precise like     Black Betty) , but it's ready for first cook- still need to get rubber tread for wheel. Planning for lamb tonight

Guy even welded the triangle thinking it was loose :(

Seems like this was spray painted . Need to see how to clean that.
