I saw one at ACE yesterday.  I was underwhelmed.  It just seems a bit thrown together and generic.  Just changing wheels to classic whitewalls would help...or limited edition redwalls.  I dunno.  I'll wait to get one on clearance next fall or on CL.

I agree about the wheels. Why go cheap on the wheels after all the anticipation. After seeing that there are stacks of them at Home Depots and Lowes stores, yeah, they'll be around for clearance sales.  8)

I think Weber needs to make a matching Smokey Joe.  I would grab that for $40

Anyone want mine for $170 NIB? It would have to be a local pick up.  I already paid for mine and really am trying to pare back.  I'm kinda sore at the initial marketing of this grill.

I like it. I like the wheels too. I confused where this kettle is made. I remember reading something about China. Are they made and coated there or just coated or neither?

not sure...think its std weber manu partners...amazon q and a section has weber replies about intl manu partner etc.

looking again at this pic...for me..its the best looking kettle weber has put out....MT in perfect red.

also lile how weber dumped the accessories to keep the price at 199....dumped the warming rack/crappy gbs grates and i have plenty of baskets..so id rather have the base price low..without the added gizmos...

I'm loving the return of the black ash catcher pot.

yeah..the all black wheels trim out perfectly with the black pot and handle kits.

weber outdid themselves with this model.
