Holy Crap!  When I talked to him, I was the fourth person to have called and be put on "The List".   I told him he might be receiving a few more calls as I as going to post his contact information.  Guess it's working out for them.   (lol)

At the end of the day, who gives a s#!? about tacos or bolt on handles. It's gonna be FRIGGIN BRIGHT RED! For the first time in 18 years. A new kettle from Weber in Red!! Only question I have is how did they swing the environmental aspects of the red porcelain? Maybe worked out a temporary deal with a disposal contractor? Who knows! But I'm pumped!

Well....I do. How cool would it really be if they made it with a welded lid handle made of wood engraved with Topper himself on it?!!! 

I have the same questions re: how red is possible again.

I will wait till the Offical Weber release of the news. We don't have anything concrete yet. We have not even seen an real official pic of the kettle. This seem like a big April fools joke to me. When did Weber ever build products off shore and brought them back to North America and sold them as made in China or India or other places Weber products.  I do hope this is legit as I do want to sign up to get one....but not as of yet.   I will sign up on April 2nd.

Oh, its 100% legit (grill, where it is being made, etc.). The "Bobs" are taking pre orders from the retailers now. Yes, he was prob gauging interest to determine how many to order.
