After a ling time, I was able to strike a deal with Troy and I acquired the old barn find Estate...Here it is compared to my other Estate.  The newly aquired one is much lighter....They are both in need of a good cleaning, and a ground up resto's on both of them....

I know Duke isn't in to them, but these Chestnut Copperton's are one of my favorite colors....

What's that metal frame in the background?  A sneek peak at Azul Two?  ;D
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

That is AWESOME! Is that the grill Troy borrowed from his parents neighbors to restore? :)

Duke

Nice rack! I have never been a fan of that color, but they are definitly rare and prized. I look forward to seeing them refinished Brian. You have an awesome collection. I really like those covers too.

Way to close the deal Troy. I think I remember the owner, was adamant about not selling.

Troy

yeah, the grill had sentimental value
it was his brothers, who died 20 years ago.

his brother really loved the grill, so this guy inherited that love.
it sat in a barn for 20 years.

he was extra reluctant to sell because he thought that I would be re-selling for a profit.
Once he understood that it would be restored and cherished he felt much more comfortable.
