What would be a good price on a grill like this?
They are asking $125.

Looks pretty mint from here, but how does it look inside? Presuming it wasn't used much, but you never know. I guess the value is debatable, but if you LOVE the color, and it's in good shape, offer them $75 and see what happens. Then swap it into a SS frame and have one of nicest performers around.

Got mine for 35 pretty dirty and I had to replace the lid bail. Looks great now.

The color is growing on me just not sure about the price as the ad says "firm".  I guess I'm just spoiled seeing what everyone else is geting thier grills for.  Is it considered a performer and what years were they produced since this one has a wood handle and jacoblee's is plastic?

Bman

I don't think that was considered a Performer.  One Touch Platinum before they built this one (but I could be wrong)

I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

jacoblee

Bmans right one touch platinum though they are no longer making either.

That is correct....that is the old Platinum....$125 seems steep, but that is a very rare bird.  That color is oh so sweet.  Send him a note and see where he is.  In all honesty if you could get it for $75 it would be a nice deal.  There always great deals to be had but sometimes you need to pay for something you really want... Decide if you really want it....I would bet there won't be too many takers at $125.

I think i'm gonna ride it out to the end of the week and see if it's still available, should be easier to get at a reasonable price then.

Heyjude

I don't think those came with Wood Handles oriiginally. He may be one of "Us" as they say..
If he is close, go inspect it. Don't nitpick it, but point out any obvious flaws, such as chips or worn out grates. The table looks a bit rough as well. Memorize a few date codes and see if its over 5 yrs old.
All those tricks and cash in hand may sway him to accept a reasonable offer.. Like Brian said, if you really want it, whats it worth to ya?
Good Luck with it!  8)
I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..

I paid $300 for performer in that color a couple of weeks ago
But I did sell my black performer for $350 to cover costs
Even $100 wouldn't be a bad price
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

That is a grill I sold several months ago when I got cancer and had to sell out my collection. The wood handle is from a Weber fireplace. When I sold it to him it was in like new condition. It is definitely a platinum.
