Since this thread is for asking silly questions I might as well ask one. Do most people stay pretty close to the $20 min gift amount? Since this would be my first time entering I'm not sure of protocol and don't want to be the only guy who sends a $20 gift when everybody else spends much more. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Spend what you are comfortable with. People will be all over the place on this one. After postage I was into a lot more than 20 last year.

@JDD - I can't speak for everyone, but I kind of think most tend to go over $20.  Last year I gave a weber compact chimney, ove gloves, some disposable foil pans and sticker that went along with my person's car hobby.  I received the weber gourmet system skillet from my secret santa...something that wasn't really on my xmas list but was very happy to get it, had just purchased the gourmet grate so the timing was perfect, and I use it quite a bit.

This year I'll take a look at who I get and see what their wants are.  If they don't have many, I'll just think about some of the things I use all the time, or things that maybe I don't use all of the time but am glad I have the few times I do use them.

@james1787  -  For me, I can always use lighter cubes, disposable pans, and wood chunks.  I think most of the others here would not turn down any of those items.

A little tip -  If you have Amazon Prime or can find free shipping it saves you some money to just ship it directly to your person!

Cool, thanks! I see people listed out some of their interests. I signed up. I'll have to fill out the google part at home (google docs blocked at work). This should be fun!
