The elusive 18.5 OTP
« on: October 15, 2016, 12:02:55 PM »
I've been on a self imposed Weber "hold" till I can thin the herd a lil bit. Well yesterday morning I saw this on CL and I had to at least contact the seller to see if it was still available. Not a really good pic on CL except that I knew it was an 18.5 OTP. Something I've been looking for for quite awhile. Seller texted me back last night with the thumbs up...it was in fact still available.  ;D  Never one to pass up a good road trip I hopped in the Sportage this morning for a trek into the beautiful state of Wisconsin. 2 hours later it's in my car. Here's the pics from the CL ad

and a vent pic

Imagine my surprise when I got there thinking this was a black 18.5 only to find out it's GREEN...
even more of a SCORE than I was thinking.
Proper pics to follow after I get her cleaned up.  8)

Cool! Does anyone know the certain years they made the 18 OTP.

Nice find, man!

Here it is after a quick clean up of the outside. A couple small chips in the lid and the bowl is chip free.

Here she is with her big brother 22.5 is a "DT" and the 18.5 is a "DH". 1 year difference and the table color changed from one year to the next. It also looks like the 18.5 is a little darker. I'll get a better look in the sunshine

Is it the picture? The bowl colors look slightly different. Maybe just the lights.
Looks great man!
